If person A is wandering through the area in which the kitchen is located, or any other area in which said jar could possibly be located, and person A happens upon a container of baked sweets that is nearly empty of it's contents, and said person A arrives on the impulse to reach into this used crime scene and therefore own one of the objects in which was once inside of this jar, and consume it in the most pleasurable manner, they still have not come upon the crook in the case of what being took without consent of the owner the sweets that were made inside of the oven from the case in which they lived happily. Person B, who truly came before person A, so in which must be named person Z, happened to an object that most likely was a pottery object, and found the objective to consume one of the objects in which were enclosed in the object, then this said person Z would have been the being that gave themselves another's object without proper consent the baked goods of the land of the kitchen or other baking area from the container in which they belonged in also was the being that allowed the canines to be freed from the abode of domestic mammals. So basically the person who stole the cookies from the cookie jar, is the same person who let the dogs out. = )
