Twilight

i dont like it. i refuse to read/watch it. it seems to me like stephanie myer made this completely epic plot, and it kept building, and building, and building, then she got pressure from her press and stuff. its like she couldnt find an epic enough ending to such an epic story. the end is completely anti-climactic and i see no point in reading something that was just ended to get it done. good authors plan things out and dont let people/readers even think for a minute that it wasnt as good as it couldve been. even better authors can make it up as they go and convince people that they had everything planned out from the beginning, like in harry potter. the epic tale of epic tales. and the ending? the best part of the whole series. im sorry, but i just cant say that for the twilight books.

i think its funny how people get obsessed with it. i have actually heard people say that they hate bella because they want edward to be in love with them. excuse me, but edward doesnt exist. and neither does bella, i hate to break it to you, but its true. i even heard someone talking about it saying things like, "before i read these books i thought vampires were bad and scary, but after reading this i realized that theyre not, and theyre just like us." hmm, it might have just slipped by me, but i dont think vampires exist, do you? why would i want to read a book that had such potential that its convincing people that vampires really do exist if the ending will be as crappy as it is? im sorry, but that is something i wont do.

and no, its not just because its a popular book so i wont read it, there are reasons, and reasons more why i dont find this book something that i want to spend my time reading.
